Das Desktop Portal ist eine Art "Zero Client", der lediglich eine Firmware zur Steuerung des PCoIP-Chips enthält. Keine x86-CPU, kein Betriebssystem, keine Treiber, keine Viren, keine beweglichen Teile - also nichts, was irgendwie manipulierbar wäre oder gewartet werden müsste. Lediglich Firmware-Updates must occasionally be performed. This can be done centrally at the same time for all clients.
